Best Buy Awards 2008
This is so exciting- a two thousand dollar shopping spree at the local Best Buy for classroom I-pods.
Students are absolutely engaged!

Our sixth graders conduct water testing in our local area. They have completed environmental inventories on adopted watersheds for over 5 years. Students continue to find the need to add technology to the project. These students decided what would make their experience more real-world and basically wrote this grant. They claim that to make podcasting truly a “pod”cast they need i-pods. This grant will bring i-pods into our classroom, literally putting technology in the palms of their hands.
Amatulli says, “I am so excited about using i-pods with classroom students in an academic setting. I find my digitally native students can apply technology in ways that are endless.”
