Design Team Challenge
This year we are continuing our robotics club and are excited about the fun year we have planned!
To begin the year we :
*Took a pretest- more fun than you think…
*Discovered our multiple intelligences and took personality tests- Are you a lion, otter, beaver, or golden retriever (or some of each??)
*Working on our vocabulary daily (Be able to impress your family and friends by using words like automation, AI, statistics, and more)
*Designed and built a spacecraft on a budget
*Logic blocks and communication (Come in Houston)
*We dropped eggs from the band room’s second floor!!! (You know you always wanted to go up there!!)
Yes more fun is on the way-
*Build a robot (Yes you! You can build a robot) (Many of us are done and are making final adjustments!)
*Program the robot for obstacle course challenges
*Compete in the robot fashion show (use jeans, faux animal skin, and make a bathing suit, and be ready for the mystery challenge!!!)
*Time trails and graph analysis using Excel (We will be using the computer lab)
*A culminating trip to the Chrysler Museum!
