Galileo Teacher Leadership 2009

Filed under: Comments — amatulli @ 11:23 am

I have begun my 2 year journey with the Galileo Teacher Institute. I am excited to have completed my first retreat.

The Galileo Institute for Teacher Leadership is dedicated to improving the learning of all students, elevating the education profession, enhancing the leadership skills of teachers, and fulfilling the vital role of public education in achieving a civil, prosperous and democratic society. The commitment to the concept of developing teacher leaders, to defining what teacher leadership is and why it is so important is at the heart of the institute.

We lead best from where we stand. Teachers as Leaders is our website gallery of Galileo Institute members sharing their experiences as leaders. Join principal Mark Morawski as he shares his vision of teacher leadership in Teachers as Leaders. Mary Cooper of Novi Community Schools joins the conversation as she describes the impact of the Galileo Experience on her leadership journey.
